Bucharest
The selected participants are invited to attend simultaneous two-day meetings in Bucharest, Brussels, Prague and Warsaw in order to develop the Declaration “Generation ’89”, the declaration of their generation – the new citizens of a free Europe.

Bucharest: 3 Czech, 3 Belgian, 3 Polish, 2 Hungarian, 2 Austrian, 2 Bulgarian, 2 German, 2 British, 16 Romanian;

Working language: English

The selected participants will receive joining instructions prior to the meetings in due time.
The cost of travel, accommodation and meals will be covered.

Programme:

Sunday 25 April

18:00 – 19:00      Welcoming participants, handing portfolios, reception / dinner
                               Screening of a film by director Radu Muntean

Monday 26 April

9:00 – 10:15         Introduction (project, schedule, participants) – with the participation of          
                                Mrs. Tania Radu, Vice-president of RCI.

10:15 – 11:00       Coffee break

11:00 – 12:30       Presentation by the Institute for the Investigation of Communist Crimes and the
                                Memory of the Romanian Exile, discussions

12:30 – 13:30       Lunch break

14:00 – 15:30       Projection of the short films made by participants, in the presence of a Romanian
                                director Radu Muntean

15:30 – 16:00       Coffee break

16:00 – 18:00       Meeting with film directors Corneliu Porumboiu and Radu Muntean

18:00                      Free time; suggestions for cultural events, bars, places to visit

                                 from the Bucharest group
